 AFTER IMAGES PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE

Audrey Chan (they/them) is a Hong Kong-born, queer, and non-binary settler living and learning in unceded Mi’kma’ki. Currently a student at the University of King's College studying contemporary philosophy and cinema, they are interested in the intersections between documentary ethics, queerness, race, and diasporic cultural identity, and have been experimenting with image-making processes ever since their dad handed down his old photography gear to them when they were young. You can follow their most recent visual experiments on their portfolio (www.audreychantw.com) and their Instagram at @audrey1.0.

Seán Galway (they/she) is an expatriate settler of Celtic ancestry originally from T'karonto. An emerging film programmer, maker, and arts administrator, they are an alumnus of the University of King's College, where they studied continental philosophy in conjunction with Eastern European & German cinema and the politics of memory & trauma. Their filmmaking practice investigates political culture through lenses of queer desire and speculative mythologies, with a focus on neologistic meaning-making. Their taste in cinema embraces folkloric lyricism, anxious noise, barbaric laughter, and abstract compositional style. You can find them on Instagram @banshee.laughter.
