HIFF Dailies — Day Three
Things get serious on Day Three with a triple feature of incredible films that will have us revelling in fine cinema early into the a.m.
We start off with THE SWEET EAST, the directorial debut from acclaimed cinematographer Sean Price Williams, before moving on to FORAGERS, Palestinian filmmaker Jumana Manna’s incisive work of docu-fiction. Closing out the night is THE PEOPLE’S JOKER, the eye-popping, copyright-skirting comedy from the incredible Vera Drew.
Our screenings of THE SWEET EAST and THE PEOPLE’S JOKER will likely be full, so we ask that pass holders arrive 15 minutes early to claim their seats. Rush tickets will also be available — we’ll try our very best to get everyone in!
See you there.
