HIFF Day 3: Fluorescent and Bizarrely Beautiful (Plus VR!)

Today’s films push all the limits of traditional filmmaking. We are thrilled to present the energetic and fluorescent international feature Team Hurricane, which follows a cast of teenagers found entirely on Instagram. Festival Update #3: HIFF Begins today!

It’s opening night of the 2018 Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival! The festival begins with a diverse selection of Canadian films, including the thought-provoking visual feast All You Can Eat Buddha at 7pm. At 9pm Atlantic Auteurs Program One showcases short films by Atlantic Canadian filmmakers, which were chosen by a peer jury from over 100 submissions.
